 On January 3, 2012, the last parliamentary election phase began in Menia, Kalyoubia, Gharbia, Dakhlia, New Valley, Matrouh, Kena, North and South Sinai. Voting runs in other 5 constituencies, in which voting was cancelled in the first and second phases, based on court decisions. The constituencies include Moharam Bek in Alexandria, Al Fateh and Dirot in Assuit, Al Sahel in Cairo and constituency 5 in Sharkia.

 On January 3, 2012, voting continued in the last parliamentary election phase in Menia, Kalyoubia, Gharbia, Dakhlia, New Valley, Matrouh, Kena, North and South Sinai. The observers of the Egyptian Coalition for Electoral Observation found many electoral violations including group voting, campaigning inside and outside the polling stations, closing polling centers for inadequacy of ballots in Kalyoubia, electoral bribes and verbal clashes.

 On January 3, 2012, the polling stations in Menia, Kalyoubia, Gharbia, Dakhlia, New Valley, Matrouh, Kena, North and South Sinai were closed at 7 pm. The observers of the Egyptian Coalition for Electoral Observation found many electoral violations including group voting, campaigning inside and outside the polling stations, electoral fraud and bribes, which reached LE 200 by the end of the voting day for a vote.

 On December 21, 2011, the marathon of the Egyptian People’s Assembly elections in the second phase, second round in Giza, Menoufia, Sharkia, Ismailia, Bani Suef, Suez, Behaira, Sohag and Aswan Governorates. The second round includes 188 independent candidates competing for 59 seats, among them are 49 candidates for Freedom and Justice Political Party, 36 for Al Nor, 11 for the dismantled National Democratic Party and 3 for the Egyptian Bloc.

 On December 21, 2011, the marathon of the Egyptian People’s Assembly elections in the second phase, second round continued in Giza, Menoufia, Sharkia, Ismailia, Bani Suef, Suez, Behaira, Sohag and Aswan Governorates. Campaigning, group transportation and group voting continued also.
